This GO MINI S Portable Storage business includes three franchise areas, Mobile and Montgomery, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida. The inclusive areas for each are shown on the Competitor Map later in the package. The physical assets include three different sizes of 139 portable storage units; a roll off truck and other miscellaneous equipment involved in the business. Currently, the assets are stored at Paulk Moving and Storage on I-65 in Mobile with a few units being available at Space Savers Self Storage in Daphne, AL. At the present time, about 54% of the storage units are rented. The potential for developing these three franchise areas is immense, especially for Baldwin and Mobile Counties. Immediately, construction will begin on the ThyssenKrupp Steel Plant in North Mobile County where approximately 28,000 construction workers will begin the construction of this $3.7 billion facility which is scheduled to employ 2,800 full-time workers. Additionally, Baldwin County is the second fastest growing county in Alabama. Ideally, GO MINI S could be operated in combination with a storage or moving and storage business. This way, economies of scale can be achieved. Operating from the same office with the same employees and office equipment could save operating expenses.
