Founded in 2004, the Company is a two-store retailer of unique and specialty gifts items offering a wide range of product categories. With a favorable reputation, strong customer and supplier relationships, a strong commitment to excellent customer service, and experienced management, it is well-positioned for strong growth.

The revenue mix comprises jewelry, women’s accessories, and apparel (29% of 2015 sales), handbags and travel products (12%), Christmas products (11%), home décor items (9%), candles (7%), Greek/sorority gifts (7%), and many other gift items (25%.)

The Company’s target markets are primarily females 40 years and older (60% of annual sales) and 18 to 39-year olds (40%.) Many are college students, particularly those living in the area, as such, much of the Company’s focus includes Greek sorority products. The Company’s geographic markets are the Cities of Hoover (51% of 2015 sales) and Auburn (49%.)

• Specialized Merchandise: According to First Research, Inc.: Gift, Novelty & Souvenir Stores January 2016 report, Gift stores can better compete with large retailers by offering unique and hard-to-find items. Carrying artwork or jewelry from local artists helps companies differentiate from large stores, which typically carry mass-produced products. Gift retailers can also serve as authorized or exclusive distributors for special product lines. In addition, offering unique private-label merchandise can help develop a loyal customer following.
