The Company is a full service landscape construction contractor doing business in the Southeast since 1993. Over this period of time the CEO has grown the business several fold and has handled very sophisticated projects for the country s largest home builders. The multi-dimensional Company was originally positioned to handle large scale residential developments with a geographical focus in the Southeast. As time passed, the Company felt that the best overall strategic model incorporated a policy of organic growth through vertical integration. They already had a sophisticated landscape construction arm and they decided to complement it with building and developing a shrub nursery and a separate but vast tree farm. In the normal business cycle, they could distribute substantial product through the landscape installation business unit and further augment tree and shrub sales by selling to vendors throughout the Southeast. On large projects for developers, they could control quality and make sure that the appropriate landscape products were delivered on time to the location. Needless to say, profitability was gained through every step of the process. Beyond this vertical integration strategy, the Company also expanded its geographical boundaries to include markets north of its typical market. For the last four years, the Company has averaged $12,150,000 in sales with an average EBITDA of $1,419,000. In the past year, revenues have shrunk to the 2004 level but the company remains profitable with a cash flow over $500,000. More importantly, the Company is perfectly positioned once the economy recovers (and it always does) to gain substantial market share in the Southeast. The strategic movement towards vertical integration will allow the Company to move well beyond $20,000,000 in sales very quickly.

Growth/Expansion: The Company is utilizing a three pronged approach to future growth consisting of the following: 1) Aggressively marketing its plant material throughout the Southeast, 2) Increasing penetration of major residential developers throughout the Southeast stressing their ability to be a one stop Landscape Shop and 3) Crossing over and developing commercial relationships and stressing their resident expertise in handling major projects. The company is ideally situated to capture significant market share once the current slow down has subsided.
