If you are starting an Air Conditioning business this is a great opportunity to grow quickly. We have done over 142 complete changeouts since 4/07. Our net profit is about $1400.00 per job. I live in Charlotte County and am tired of driving to Fort Myers for my Sales. I will sell Fort Myers territory and continue to operate in Charlotte and Sarasota counties. The sales for the business are based on a phone number and a website address. Only the web address is advertised along with a phone number for the Salesman. A subcontractor does all the installations.

Competition: The competition has a hard time matching our great prices. We have very little overhead. I easily close almost every lead I get. Using my subcontractor for installations cuts way down on expenses that other companies have to include in their estimates.

Growth/Expansion: Currently only doing Sales and Installation. Only Servicing products we sell. New owner could easily expand Service Department for added income. We do not do any new construction projects. Only replacement of existing systems. More advertising would certainly produce many more sales but I don't like the traveling.
