Detailed Information

Growth & Expansion:
Over the next twenty years, the number of Americans age 65 and older will double to 71 million, comprising nearly 20% of the U.S. population. For this reason, over the last several years, the U.S. Home Care industry has seen accelerated growth. Other factors contributing to growth are increasing instances of chronic disease, growing physician acceptance of home care aided by technological and medical advancements, and continued movement toward cost-efficient treatment options. These trends are further augmented by seniors’ strong preference to age in place and avoid the costly, disruptive and emotionally taxing move to institutional care. According to CMS data, approximately 12 million individuals currently receive care from more than 33,000 home care providers. This large and fragmented field of providers is expected to decrease as the industry continues to consolidate over the next five to ten years.

Support & Training:
The owner has transitioned out of the business on a day-to-day basis, but is willing to transition the business to a new owner. The Company has been pre-qualified for an SBA loan at the asking price with a small down payment from the buyer. The buyer will still need to be approved to get the loan from the bank.
