Our client is a Northeast Based Manufacturer of Architectural Glass Products with sales throughout New England and in parts of the Northeast. This company fabricates their own products and has complete control over their manufacturing process. Their decision to move in this direction was in response to the needs of a niche market that they continue to successfully serve more than ten years later. Their secret – a two-week lead-time (versus a 4-week lead time of larger manufacturers), accuracy, quality and superior customer service. They offer a wide variety of services including, but not limited to tempering, laminating, and manufacturing flat glass products such as bath enclosures, table tops, windows and commercial architectural glass.

The production team is experienced, and operates the day-to-day business with very little supervision. Our client serves two main markets, each supported by a varied customer base with only 10% of their sales coming from their largest customer. 40% of their clients are on COD because that is what the clients prefer. The real estate is not included in this transaction but available for purchase under a separate agreement.

The building is currently being expanded and is targeted for completion in September. While not included in the sale price, the real estate is available for purchase or lease.

There are approximately 3 other major players in our client company's market area. These companies are larger, and have much longer turn around times. Our client has built their business maintaining entrepreneurial nimbleness that their larger competitors can't match.
Growth & Expansion:
Our clients have built a solid and thriving entity. They fabricate their own products and control the entire manufacturing process, resulting in the delivery of a high quality product, in the shortest time possible, yielding incredible customer satisfaction. They currently operate one shift, but are poised for growth. In fact, they are presently in the middle of expanding their current facility to accommodate additional business. As an environmentally conscious company, they recycle their glass. Loyal, experienced staff work well independently, are cross-trained and are expected to stay on after the acquisition. Their client base is spread across two large markets, supported by approximately 90 customers.
