They also serve a variety of hard ice cream and smoothies and a wonderful deck outside under a giant cedar tree to sit and enjoy the solitude of the mountains. In the winter it is a must stop on the way to the Crystal Mountain Ski Area for all the latest in ski clothing and gear. On the way back home it is a traditional stop for shopping and a hot espresso drinks or hot chocolates. They also sell sno park permits and share local knowledge about snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and other winter activities. Wapiti Woolies also makes knitted wool hats on the site, which is how they got there start in 1974. Famous climbers from around the world are equipped with these fine hats and pictures of them on all the highest summits of the world are on display in the shop.
