Founded in December, 1960 this company has grown from a two person business started in a garage to the leading supplier of smoke cooking and meat processing equipment, seasonings and butcher's supplies in the Tri-State area. In 1978 the Company started selling indoor high speed smokehouses to the meat processing industry in Indiana & Ohio, and in 1978 they assumed responsibility for Michigan as well. In 1992 they started their seasoning and ingredient program. In 1993 they developed a route sales and delivery system to sell seasonings, packaging materials and butcher's supplies to the trade. The route truck currently services the entire State of IN and much of OH with scheduled delivery every 6 weeks. It has since grown to become one of their major product lines with active customers in 11 states. Southern Pride smokers were added to the product line in 1994 and with 10 years of steady progress they were named Top Distributor in 2004 and continue to be in the top 5 distributors since. They have been active in the meat industry trade associations for over 30 years and served as a supplier director for 3 state associations and 1 national association. The customer base includes meat processing plants and specialty meat markets which are usually owner operated, many times by multiple generations. Several processors are top 20 customers who buy both equipment and consumable products from us. Their attention to detail along with commitment to service have enabled the company to steadily grow their customer base. Their ongoing strategy has been to identify individual customer needs and respond quickly. Facilities: The facility includes 11,200 sq. ft. with convenient off-street parking. Includes a warehouse, service department, testing facilities, test kitchen, and offices and two loading docks.
