Business Description

Hot Area! Nostalgic! Old Downtown Rest & Bar

This is a very strong destination nostalgic restaurant and bar. A very popular Old downtown historical area with great growth and is heavily promoted by this north Dallas suburb. One of those old romantic parts of town which is packed on weekends with many retail businesses and eating and drinking establishments. The surrounding area is terrific with the growth of expensive condos and apartments coming in the hundreds as the cool urban place to live that surround these late 1800 period buildings. The business itself is in a very customer friendly early 1900's brick building with full kitchen, bar and loads of charm...American comfort food with Great reviews and a location that could not be competed with that makes this a solid opportunity for anyone who appreciates a business that is more than a business. Great history to this area and you are in the middle of it. Every year the business does more sales yet the ownership is more a hobbyist than attentive to all the other things that can make for even greater gross and net. This restaurant and bar is unique... the area is different from anything you normally see...serious only please

Detailed Information

This is a terrific and very popular OLD downtown area of a strong north Dallas suburb. A very historical area of old charming buildings and a great destination area with much retail and eating and drinking establishments. This cool area is very customer friendly and growing every year. The restaurant bar is nostalgic selling very good comfort food breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a full bar and kitchen. Atmosphere is warm and inviting.
This charming area is well promoted by the city and is packed on the weekends and well trafficked during the week. The restaurant itself has always had great reviews and has been well established. As far as competition...the area is full up and no more available space so competition is what has always been there.
Growth & Expansion:
This historical area and charming restaurant and bar, needs to be seen to be appreciated....present ownership can be much improved upon in that this is more or less a hobby business...meaning there is much greater sales and net to a more conscientious owner. Much can be done promotion-ally with better marketing, customer contact and paying more attention to line item expenses.
