This geotechnical engineering consulting firm was started in 1997 by the current owner, with the bulk of work coming from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) due to contacts from his previous employer. Over time clients in the local market were established as well and the business grew with the addition of new equipment and a website. Currently the top 10 customers are mainly government entities, (federal, state, and county), as well as engineering and construction clients. In 2005 the owner formed a partnership with a laboratory testing company, subcontracting all testing services to them, and the partners purchased the building currently housing both businesses.
