This ambulance company provides Emergency and Non-Emergency ground transportation services on an immediate response basis. They provide transportation to and from hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, dialysis treatments, X-ray appointments and radiation therapy. The company is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey on a Basic Life Support ( BLS ) level. BLS services are for patients who require ambulance transport but who do not need extensive medical supervision or therapy while in transit. Virtually all reimbursement is from third-parties 65% from Medicare (the highest reimbursing payor) and the rest is from Keystone Mercy, straight Medicaid and commercial insurance (IBC, Aetna, etc.) Patients tend to be long-term 3-4 years.
