Wear to Win®, LLC is a designer, wholesaler and online retailer of fashion-forward activewear for youthfully-minded females. Wear to Win®’s clothing has been manufactured in the U.S.A. since inception and has been sold at Wear to Win®’s online store, wholesaled online at golf apparel sites, and sold in over 30 exclusive golf club pro shops nationwide. Wear to Win® made its concerted push to enter the wholesale market with eye-catching booths at the PGA Show in Orlando, Florida. Internal staff would secure sales appointments and present our clothing line to large golf club buyers in attendance. Follow-up appointments and additional presentations were made to clubs throughout Florida. These appointments led to most of our wholesale accounts as exclusive clubs such as: Brooklawn, Wee Burn, Trump International, Polo Golf Club, Bear Lakes Country Club, and Everglades Country Clubs.
Wear to Win®’s clothing design concept is to provide comfortable and flattering clothing with moisture-wicking fabrics, comfortable and flattering fit, appealing fashion, ease of care, and durability. Wear to Win® underwent re-branding to orient the website, marketing, and logo colors to a revised target market of active and youthfully-minded, fashion-loving women, aged 20 to 60. The website was re-designed to higher technical standards making the customer shopping experience and the order-processing capabilities better. While the product line continues to consist of skorts, tops, and jackets, the designs of our clothing lines have become more refined with continued attention to “excellence in the details,” offering the serious golf wear and active woman the comfort, fit, and fashion they desire. The new branding tag line became: “Play Fiercely. Live Beautifully®.” Wear to Win® has designed, developed and owns 24 clothing designs, all of which have been manufactured into garments that have been sold. Each style designed has been engineered by an internationally recognized pattern developer, Apparel Product Development, Inc. and digitized for production at factories that use state-of-the-art Gerber Accumark Marker Making software cutting systems. Wear to Win® partnered with award-winning Woodbine Creative Advertising agency to help re-brand and develop a cohesive brand footprint and image. Through creative development processes, a unique brand footprint was created. All of Wear to Win®’s visuals and messaging changed to adhere to this footprint and its core: “Excellence is in the details.” This new brand communicated that “Wear to Win® is an activewear lifestyle brand for women. Wear to Win® branding has clean lines, is cheerful, and achieves a balance of appealing to women of all ages.” Photography shows products featured on athletic women in environments that are not on the golf course. The settings reveal how the products can be worn on and off the golf course and that you do not have to be a golfer or be on the golf course to wear Wear to Win®. As part of this re-branding the Wear to Win® logo was updated, the new tagline became “Play Fiercely. Live Beautifully. ®” and a new, more nimble, contemporary website was designed, working with the award winning website designers at Precept Partners. The colors used in the re-brand – toned-down white, pink, green and black. The more sophisticated messaging and photographs signaled a lifestyle brand for the fashion-conscious woman. This is where Wear to Win® is today. Primary out-sourced marketing-related functions have been with Precept Partners for website design and technical support. Note: The www.weartowin.com website is live online for review, but the e-commerce functionality is presently paused, pending the sale of the company and transition to a new owner. Wear to Win's founders are working with Precept Partners to assist with the sale. Asking price has been set at about 1/2 "book" and less than 1X best year's sales.
